Baby Unit

The Baby Unit is a purpose-built home from home annexe which consists of an open plan soft carpeted play area with a separated creative/messy play area

It has a sensory room where babies can explore their senses and engage in activities tailored to their individual needs and abilities

There is an adjoining sleep room with bunk cots that is monitored by an intercom camera, however, sleeping children are checked on regularly and practitioners complete a sleep chart during the day monitoring times each child sleeps for

All the staff recognise and work towards your child’s individual needs and interests and welcome parental involvement throughout their time at nursery

All children within the baby unit are guaranteed a place within the nursery – this is beneficial to all parties as children remain in a familiar environment with the staff they know and parents/carers already know the staff and the ethos of Little Clowns
